Job Description Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our team. If you have a passion for quality assurance, a knack for finding bugs, and the desire to ensure our products meet the highest standards of excellence, we want to hear from you. As a Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and deployment of our software and hardware products. You will be responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring the overall quality and reliability of our solutions. Your expertise in testing methodologies and attention to detail will be essential in helping us deliver outstanding products to our customers.
Duties Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans and strategies for new products and featuresDefine test cases, test objectives, and acceptance criteria based on project requirementsExecute manual and automated tests to identify defects, ensuring comprehensive test coveragePerform functional, regression, performance, and usability testingRecord and document test results and defects and track them through resolutionDevelop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit)Qualifications Required education and experience: Requires 5 to 8 years with BS/BA or 3 to 5 years with MS/MA or 0 to 2 years with PhD.Proven experience testing IT systems, encompassing hardware, applications, and network components.Must have a current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (i.e., Security+ CE)Required Clearance Top SecretWorking Environment OnsiteOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Dobbs Defense Solutions is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
