Corporate Training and Development Specialist If you are an initiative-taking Training and Development Specialist with an entrepreneurial spirit, we need you on our team! In this role, the ideal candidate will play a key part in enhancing the competencies of our employees by developing and delivering training programs that align with the agency's goals and core values.
This person will conduct training needs assessments, design engaging curriculum and learning materials, and oversee all aspects of training interventions.
The primary objective will be to boost workplace performance and drive professional growth within the agency.
As a Training Specialist, the incumbent will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify training gaps and develop targeted solutions.
S/he will also be responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a strong passion for learning and development, excellent instructional design skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and engage with employees at all levels of the organization.
Creativity, diligence, and organizational abilities will be critical in delivering impactful training initiatives at all levels.
Key responsibilities will include: Develop and deliver engaging learning solutions that produce the desired outcomes in responding to the learner's needs, including hybrid and virtual learning through various media (i.e., videos, PowerPoints, demonstrations, etc.
)Create and facilitate training and development, learning initiatives, and training curriculums for specific roles and departments.Perform gap analyses to identify opportunities to continuously improve the training program and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to address areas of deficiency (as needed)Qualifications 3+ years of direct experience in organizational development, instructional design, training, and/or building curriculum.Proven experience in professionally designing multiple training events.Experience in the IDD field is preferred but not required.Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles and the ability to master the full training cycle required.Adequate knowledge of learning management software and Proficiency in MS Office and database softwareExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skills: Communication - Organization - and Adaptability.Bachelor's degree in psychology, social science, communications, education, or related field.Salary/Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000 We pride ourselves on championing a culture of mutual accountability, innovation, entrepreneurialism, and self-determination while attracting and retaining the best people to serve our mission.
