Transfer Station Operations SupervisorTransfer Station Supervisor - Waste Connections of Canada Location: Hamilton, Ontario Waste Connections of Canada is seeking an energetic, safety-oriented Transfer Station Supervisor to lead and support our Hamilton Transfer Station!
In this role, you will hire, train, supervise, and ensure the safety of our transfer station team. We provide hands-on training and mentoring in the waste management industry to prepare you for future leadership roles in our growing company.

Location: Our Hamilton Transfer Station
Salary: 70-75k +10% annual bonus
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM to 4PM on site; rotating Saturday Schedule (every 3rd Saturday)
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and guide daily operations, adjusting staffing needs as necessary.Develop and drive safety goals to maintain a secure work environment.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure safe and compliant work practices.Respond to and resolve customer concerns regarding transfer station services.Perform employee reviews and participate in performance management.Set both short- and long-term goals for the station's operations.Participate in budgeting and manage profit and loss (P&L) activities.Ensure compliance with environmental standards, health and safety regulations, and local permits.Perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced, people-oriented environment.
