Transmission Engineerproject Manager

Growing National firm looking to add a talented Senior Transmission Engineer/Project Manager to their Indianapolis team! Responsibilities: Responsible for project management duties including design modeling development and drawing of a transmission line structure or system Provide technical oversight including managing the quality control process analyzing data to find discrepancies and identify solutions Assist with business development Mentor/train junior staff Administrative duties including developing/communicating/tracking workflows scheduling ensuring projects meeting quality standards and project documents are consistent with project plans and within scope/budget Requirements: B.S. Degree in Civil Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Master s degree in engineering a plus 8 years of engineering design experience in high voltage transmission/distribution line engineering (12kV to 345Kv) 3 years of managing transmission line projects preferred Extensive knowledge of transmission steel structure design/analysis (substation preferred) Knowledge of applicable safety codes utility standards and regulations (NESC ASCE IEEE) Knowledge of PLSCADD preferred Knowledge of standard engineering design principals Salary is commensurate with experience.
