Transmission Line Engineer

Transmission Line Engineer - Remote Anywhere in the U.S. 

  The Transmission Line Engineer will be utilizing PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE to model remediation for identified issues during a drone inspection of client facilities. The successful candidate will use provided LiDAR, intrusive records, and drone-based photos to assist in the analysis and remediation. Each location will have different issues, so could require thinking outside of the box.
Responsibilities of Transmission Line Engineer:
Utility transmission line design experience (15kV through to 500kV) Knowledgeable in design of transmission foundations Familiar with foundations design programs (FAD, LPile, APile, etc.) Strong communication skills to coordinate with project engineers, designers and client representatives Work effectively in team environment; can also work independently Technical Competencies of Transmission Line Engineer:
Experience with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE & LiDAR Understanding of electric utility pole design Familiarity with utility pole construction and equipment Education and Experience of a Transmission Line Engineer:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Minimum 3 years of experience Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship.
