Traveling Superintendent

Traveling Superintendent Job Duties:
•Superintendent shall supervise all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors on a daily basis.
This supervision shall ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and work performed.

•Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely completion.

•Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.

•Communicate with the project team regarding project drawings, RFI's, and Material Submittals.

•Ensure that each subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work.

•Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.

•Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.

•Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.

•Maintain a daily log of activities on the jobsite.

•Ensure each subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.

•Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.

•Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors in regards to quality of work or scheduling.

•Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.

•Assist with budgeting, bidding, and awarding of subcontracts as needed.

•Maintain up-to-date records of submittals, shop drawing, and construction drawings onsite to ensure a proper installation is achieved.


Job Requirements

5+ years a superintendent with focus on commercial ground up and TI projects Familiarity with Procore software Ability to understand construction documents and plans.
A willingness to travel frequently and the ability to operate in different cultures is also vital to your success Good working knowledge of construction practices, tools, terminology, and safety precautions of the trade (3-5 years relevant supervisor experience required) Ability to work well and communicate efficiently with clients, subcontractors, and other team members.
Benefits are as follows: Medical (Anthem Blue Cross) Dental Optical Disability & Life Insurance 401k 150.00/ week vehicle allowance Time off: 80 hours vacation, 40 hours sick, 8 paid company holidays.
Per diem 50.00/ day worked Lodging/ per diem is $830.00/ week if the super chooses a weekly lump sum.
Air Travel is company paid.
Incentive is typically two weeks pay.
Performance incentive is additional.
