Job Summary and Qualifications As the multi- registered Ultrasound Technologist, you will maintain an efficient, safe and pleasant work environment.
To assist the Director, Medical Director and Physicist in directing all aspects of care provided by the Medical Imaging Department, including but not limited to; procedures, treatments, quality improvement, quality control and other related duties.
Further more, the Technologist produces two dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for use by Physician in diagnosis of disease and study of malfunction of organs by performing the following duties.

What You Will Do In This Role: You will be responsible for the provision of quality Ultrasound Services to include OB/GYN, Abdominal, Breast, Small parts, Neurological, and limited vascular exams.
You will photograph images of organs shown on display module, or remove strip printout from equipment to obtain permanent record of internal examination.
You will work as a team player and meet the needs of the Ultrasound department.
You will travel to other satellite facilities as needed for staffing requirements.
You will maintain ultrasound equipment and report malfunctioning devices.
You will transport patients as needed.
What Qualifications You Will Need: Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equitable on the job training is required.
Required Licensure: Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (A.R.D.M.S.)
with at least 2 registries required.
Current BLS required RDMS (RVT), CCI (RVS) or ARRT (VS) is acceptable for vascular certification.
RDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) is acceptable for echocardiography specialties.
OB/GYN; Abdominal and Small parts experience is required.
Neurological and limited vascular experience is preferred.
Minimum Experience: Six months abdominal US experience with credit given to formal clinical training.
