Job Level: Entry Level (less than 2 years)First National Bank and Trust, an affiliate of TSBanking Group, is seeking to hire a UniversalBanker. This position is responsible for contributing tosales targets by identifying and fulfilling simple sales opportunitiesand promoting Bank products. This includes greeting customers, openingday-to-day accounts and working closely with team members to ensure anoptimal customer's experience.
Preferred education and experience: Possess a high school diploma orGED certification required. One year of work experience in afinancial institution preferred. Cash handling experience is a plus.Prior sales experience a plus.
Position location: Whitehall, WI
Starting Pay: $18.00/hr.
Experience and Skills:Assist with daily operating activities such as ABMservicing, and opening and closing procedures.Contribute to sales goals by identifying and fulfillingsimple sales opportunities to increase sales and revenue.Cross-sell bank products to new and existing customers.Direct sales opportunities to the appropriate sales officer.Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance withgoverning regulations and internal policies and procedures.Foster a relationship of mutual trust and confidence withclients and other team members.Greet and interact with the customer when they enter the branch.Meet clients day-to-day transactional needs and resolvetheir service and maintenance related inquires.Promote bank products.Open day-to-day accounts, fulfill pre-approved creditopportunities and work closely with team members to ensure theoptimal experience for clients.Interact with the local market to gain new clients andexpand relationships with existing clientsProvide WoW client service through quality conversations,efficient and accurate processing of client transactions andadhering to the Branch Service Level AgreementSell, open, and maintain all personal banking products andservices to new and existing clients, by highlighting featuresand benefits of bank products and cross sell/referrals toother TS Banking Group areas including commercial and smallbusiness lending and wealth management and trustMeet or exceed all established sales goals and contribute tobranch deposit growth; track and log all interactions in thebank's CRM system; provide feedback at weekly sales huddles;completion of 2.2.2 follow-up; Personal Banking IncentiveProgram participation allowed after 90-day onboardingMaintain a system of follow-up mail and telephonecommunication several times during the year with new andexisting clients to generate additional businessAnswer client questions and handle objections during thesales process; diplomatically handle dissatisfied clients byproviding exceptional client servicePerform both account opening and transactional processes inthe delivery of efficient, accurate and professional servicethat defines exceptional client service and reputationProficient in personal account opening, maintenance, closingincluding checking, savings, and safe deposit boxes. Adheresto lean account opening processCheck ordering; check cashing procedures; issue cashier'schecks; process wire transfers; account maintenance;transfer/sweeps; online banking and mobile bankingmaintenance; stop payments; process holds and ACH/debit card disputesProficient in BSA requirements including CTR transactions,monetary instrument log, and detecting/reportingsuspicious/unusual activityProvide awareness of all banking products and services viaoutbound communication and interaction with current andprospective clients. Make appropriate referrals and possessesa thorough knowledge of TS Banking Group products andservices. Gathers and organize client information based onreferrals; answer questions regarding same; make follow-upcalls; use CRM system to prepare and proceed with the nextsteps in referral process (current and prospective clientele);provide feedback to supervisor and affected bank personnel.Participate in branch and bank business developmentactivities including community events to promote the bank'sfavorable imageProactive aisle prospecting required for in-store bankersProtect TS Banking Group financial interests and reputationby complying with internal and external policies, proceduresand regulations.Proficient in deposit compliance disclosures. Comply withall banking regulations, policies and procedures.Knowledgeable in BSA requirements including CTRtransactions, monetary instrument log and detecting/reportingsuspicious/unusual activityAbility to perform all other duties as assigned.Comply with all banking and company regulations, policies,and procedures.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safetyrules, operating and maintenance instructions, and proceduremanuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to effectively present information and respond toquestions from employees of company and the general public.Must possess good communication skills. Ability to add,subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, usingwhole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability tocompute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to operate the following: telephone, personalcomputer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Workingknowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and databasesoftware programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.To effectively perform the job, must have reliabletransportation to travel to and from work and otherwork-related events, meetings, interactions with clients, etc.Position may require the ability to work before or afternormal business hours, including weekends and overnighttravel, to meet required deadlines and attend meetings and/ortraining programs.Competitive benefits package:
