We're seeking a future team member for the role ofFull-Stack Engineerto join our Accounting Engineering team. This role is located inNew York, NY or Jersey City, NJ – Hybrid.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Develop applications in languages including, but not limited to… Java, Angular, Spring Boot, SQL and additional Open-source integrated development environment (IDE) tools.
Building and implementing top-notch user interfaces using JavaScript and the Angular framework.
Writing efficient JavaScript code while also using HTML and CSS
Work with technical team members to evaluate and recommend new technologies and standards.
Using the latest front-end technology, creating adaptable interfaces for online apps.
Collaborating with other cross-functional teams to ensure high-performance of applications
Analyzes production applications and services issues and determines the most efficient and economical programming solutions.
Identifying and troubleshooting issues with front end code
Providing tech support for clearing bottlenecks and obstacles
Own feature development throughout all phases from analysis to production release.
Fully participate in the relevant scrum events
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
At least 5-7+ years of experience working as an Angular developer
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and their libraries
Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, SQL Server
Ability to write cross-browser compatible code
Proficiency in building JavaScript tools like Grunt and Gulp"
Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
5-7 years of experience in software development required

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $78,000 and $160,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
