About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead and drive strategic efforts for direct end-user sales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing a sales structure and strategy to meet revenue and gross margin objectives.
This role requires a leader who can inspire teamwork, coach and develop team members, and help implement a marketing strategy with a focus on both short- and long-term objectives.
The Vice President of Sales will also be tasked with growing the customer base, maintaining close communication with marketing and engineering, and providing a vision for the company's expansion into new products and markets.
Candidates for the Vice President of Sales position should have a successful track record in the packaging equipment field, with at least 4 years of experience in leading a national sales team.
A Bachelor's degree in sales, business, or a related field is required.
The role demands a professional with excellent communication, and organizational skills, and a proven ability to train, develop, and supervise sales associates.
Experience in consultative, solution selling, and a strong network with Fortune 200 companies in the food, beverage, and nutritional industry are highly valued.
