Ulla Johnson is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to join the team! Overview: As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating engaging and visually appealing displays that effectively showcase our products and enhance the customer shopping experience. You will collaborate closely with the Sr. Manager of Visual Experience and the Creative Services Team to maintain the brand's visual identity and enhance the customer experience. Key Functions: Develop and execute visual merchandising strategies for showrooms, stores, pop-ups, and shop-in-shops. Conduct regular store visits at our Bleecker Street store location to merchandise and create visual documents weekly for other stores to replicate. Create visually impactful displays that attract customers and drive sales. Collaborate with Collection Merchandising to ensure cohesive and consistent color stories across each collection launch. Train and guide store staff on visual standards and display techniques. Manage inventory for fixtures, furnishings and props for displays, ensuring all materials are organized and well-maintained. Collaborate with the Merchandising, Marketing and Creative Services team to ensure cohesive branding across all physical spaces. Analyze customer feedback and sales data to refine visual strategies. Collaboration: Work closely with Sr. Manager of Visual Experience and external vendors to facilitate the smooth execution of visual projects. Coordinate meetings, manage visuals calendar, track progress across multiple projects at once, and effectively communicate all updates to all relevant stake holders. You will work cross-departmentally with the merchandising, marketing and creative services teams. Research, Presentations, and Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and visual innovations. Update presentations and internal decks with relevant information, ie materiality vendors, materials, and inspiration. Provide insights and suggestions for incorporating new trends into the brands visual strategy. Research innovative uses and types of materials that articulate the pillar of craft and community which is inherent to the brand Administrative Tasks: Handle day- to- day administrative duties, including scheduling, budgeting and invoicing related to all relative and ongoing projects. Provide daily checklists and weeks/months ahead schedules for installations and happenings. Brand Consistency: Monitor and ensure the consistent application of brand guidelines across all visual materials. Assist in reviewing and updating feedback on design work to maintain brand integrity. Event/ Installation and Physical Support: Assist in the planning and execution of visual elements for brand events, pop ups, and other experiential initiatives. This includes installations that happen outside of typical working hours and involves physical lifting and moving. Maintain the visual warehouse of furnishings and fixtures inventory and physical space. Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A keen eye for detail and aesthetics Basic understanding of visual design principals and branding Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously A positive "yes" can – do attitude is imperative as a member of this team Physical ability to lift and move product, furnishings, fixtures and other objects alike. Proficiency in design software Sketch up, CAD, 3D Rendering, Photoshop and/ or similar programs Salary Range: $85,000-110,000.00 While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, Ulla Johnson reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range. Compensation will be determined on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, experience, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business and/or client needs.
