Overview The VP, Business Process Optimization and Solutions is a key role in the Consumer Direct Originations channel and is responsible for leading cross-functional teams focused on improving current processes, launching new processes, products, and strategies focused on enabling and improving the originations of resident mortgages. This role will be responsible for helping to design, coordinate testing, and improve new and existing products, capabilities, and processes within the Consumer Direct Originations organization. The salary range for this role is $125,000.00 to $150,000.00 with an annual bonus, and it is a remote position. Responsibilities Serve as Product Owner for the Point of Sale and vendor origination systems. Providing strategic guidance, process design, and execution leadership for the adoption of new products and programsOwn, lead and coordinate the development, testing and delivery of new technologies and capabilities. Responsible for Channel New product/enhancement feature and process developmentAddress and identify current process, data, and system needs and propose innovative solutions to enhance sales performance in alignment with Consumer Direct Sales strategiesCollaborate with various departments supporting sales activities to align business strategiesProvide oversight to Sales Encompass systems testing and Sales testing and training in the Cruise PortalContinuously evaluate and update policy and procedure documentation related to systems and processes to enhance the channel's ability to originate mortgage products effectively and efficiently.Leads Cross-functional Teams (processing, underwriting, compliance, etc.) for product development and process optimization impacting Consumer Direct SalesCoordinates development of process and training materials and acts as the lead Sales SME when partnering with the Training DepartmentAct as SME on behalf of Sales during CD project development meetingsAssist Sales Managers and MLOs with systems questions, controls (hard stops), and other Encompass/Cruise issues on production loansResponsible for development of process flows and approach on new CD Sales strategies. Represents the customer experience in all efforts, considering the customer experience and feedback in all efforts. Qualifications Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred8+ years of experience in a leadership role overseeing development and implementation of programs10+ years of experience in residential mortgage lending, Strong track record of success in the Consumer Direct residential mortgage spaceExpertise in building training and development programs with proven resultsPrevious experience in a people leading roleUnderstanding of residential mortgage product guidelines and an ability to work with the various teams across the organization and external vendorsAbility to work in cross-functional team and drive outcomesExcellent analytical and strategic thinking skillsStrong leadership, planning and execution skillsAbility to partner with technology and business partners to develop and implement solutionsBayview is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
