The Finance Operations Program Execution team sits within the Finance COO, the team is responsible for defining and executing business re-engineering programs to optimize and integrate people, process and technology. Reporting to the Finance Operations Program Execution Lead the individual will have a strategic solution mindset and help create a culture of continuous improvement, they love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems.
Responsibilities:
Work with Finance stakeholders to understand their unique businesses and processes and how they can be simplified in a way that enhances controls, creates optimized cross-Finance operations, and drives efficient execution.
Analyze data and reports to identify trends, patterns, and issues related to cross-Finance operations and present findings and recommendations to leadership.
Execute roadmaps for assigned initiatives creating and owning plans to address pain points and create value opportunities to achieve the target outcomes.
Lead and support cross functional teams to deliver re-engineering initiatives (process, technology, SME, Finance disciplines etc.) taking ownership and executing day-to-day delivery activities.
Partner with key stakeholders to identify business value metrics to measure the impact of changes, progress against outcomes and to provide a line of sight into investments.
Ensure close collaboration with stakeholders, managing them in terms of expectations, risks, dependencies and buy-in.
Partner with Process Standardization, Resource and Business Management & Financial Governance for consistency and alignment of frameworks, standards in the services they collectively deliver.
Qualifications:
5-8 years supporting process reengineering, transformation, or organizational change initiatives preferably in financial services or management consultancy.
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills; with core skills (process re-engineering, project management and data analysis) capable of diving into details, while bringing a strategic and big picture perspective.
A team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to carry out their work.
Exemplify a client-service mindset with strong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills with the ability to build relationships with business and technology teams and partner across a complex organization.
Demonstrated experience creating impactful presentations with the ability to synthesize complex concepts and analysis to communicate effectively with different audiences – experience in PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools.
Takes ownership with a track record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, preferably using Agile methodology and tools.
