Position Overview: They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to join their investment team. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of enterprise software by identifying and nurturing the next generation of industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities: Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities in the enterprise software sector, focusing on seed to Series A stages.Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence, including market analysis, financial modeling, and competitive landscape assessment.Investment Strategy: Develop and execute investment strategies that align with the firm's objectives and deliver strong returns.Portfolio Management: Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies, helping them navigate challenges and achieve growth milestones.Networking: Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and co-investors to enhance deal flow and collaboration.Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to inform investment decisions.Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or a related field, with a focus on enterprise software.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Skills: Strong analytical, financial modeling, and strategic thinking skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Network: Established network within the enterprise software ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts.Passion: Deep passion for technology and innovation, with a keen interest in supporting early-stage startups.
