THE TEAM
The Global Marketplace Product team at Ticketmaster is responsible for fan-facing experience across all Ticketmaster properties across the globe.
This team is the online and mobile face of the business and the technology behind it - which enables fans to discover and buy the music, sports, arts and theatre tickets they just can't miss.
THE JOB
As a Vice President - Product Management in the Global Marketplace team, you'll share responsibility for leading an organization that develops and optimizes products for the largest live event marketplace in the world, driving over $20B USD in annual revenue.
While inspiring and leading a team of world class product managers to drive the launch, rollout and development of our modern Discovery products, you'll also inspire fans to easily explore and find tickets for the experience of a lifetime whilst maximizing revenues for Ticketmaster and our clients - all whilst ensuring that Ticketmaster continues to lead as an innovator in the global live entertainment industry and maintaining the highest levels of service for our clients and fans.
Ticketmaster has a commanding global presence, operating in 32 countries and attracting 1B annual digital visitors globally.
To effectively address the breadth of this global business, you will serve as the strategic business partner for key lines of business, developing product strategies that drive both the growth of the overall marketplace and are inclusive of the specific needs of each business.
Beyond managing a global portfolio, you will build and mentor a high performing product team.
You will continuously focus on the people and create a culture characterized by a growth mindset, deep curiosity, collaboration and tenacity in support of insights-driven product development.
CORE FOCUS
This role is to be the most senior Product Management authority for our Discovery product domain.
Live entertainment fans trust Ticketmaster to provide robust and simple unauthenticated experiences that drive increased market share and acquisition through discovery, search and recommendations.
You will be responsible for leading a high caliber team of Product Management experts in this field, who are building world-leading unauthenticated products, experiences and serve as one of the first interactions with fans.
You will be an expert collaborator with Marketing, Data Services, Content and Design teams to develop and execute acquisitions strategy for SEM, Display, Social, Email while reducing creative degradation.You will input on overall business strategies to be a leader in defining what a destination looks like, so we can reach more audiences with relevant content and help content creators develop experiences that are optimized out of the box.You will devise and oversee the implementation of fan-friendly acquisition strategies to encourage fans to value their Ticketmaster interaction, with features that deepen their relationship and further drive tailored experiences.You will direct and drive enhancements in our Discovery domain that consider various attributes beyond content, search, navigation, and recommendations.
You will drive findability including improvements to SEO to improve the breadth of customer reach.You will design and drive product strategies utilizing our available data points such as behavioral patterns, identity and attendance in order to understand fan needs.You will design and oversee the establishment of customer journeys, leveraging patterns and needs to elevate the right content to the right customer in their preferred channel of choice.You will, together with other senior partners, input and design strategies to continuously optimize information architecture and navigation to drive effective content discovery.You will devise strategic approaches for experimentation and personalization to significantly improve conversion rates and customer experience, while improving platform scale.Oversee and identify the talent within your team including any skills gaps, development opportunities for the team and ensuring an effective structure is in place. You must have experience specifically in unauthenticated experiences, services and platforms - either in high demand industries where Content, Media, or SaaS companies provide technology to organizations with this need.
You should be deeply familiar with the latest trends for cross channel optimization, content management tools and serving tailored dynamic experiences through intelligent recommendations.
You have experience working globally, driving strategies for search functionality, content optimization and have demonstrated outsized results in funnel optimization.
