We're seeking a future team member for the role of VP, Product Management II to join our Treasury Services team. This role is located in New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA. 
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: 
Responsible for management, development & strategy of a suite of FX payments products which have a large or strategic importance to the Treasury Services business, especially low-value cross-border FX payments. Establishes the strategic approach for the development of a product or portfolio of products. 
Builds the business case for firm offerings in the marketplace and ensures that the team understands the competitive landscape and the industry environment. Working closely with client facing employees, such as the Sales teams, to gather client requirements & use cases to deliver holistic solutions for clients through technological developments.
Responsible for driving growth and profitability for products under management.
Manages the product life cycle from development through marketing, client onboarding & ongoing support. 
Ensures appropriate product mix is available for existing and new Treasury Services clients; identifying opportunities and/or gaps within the existing firm product portfolio. 
Identifies areas for enhancement or new/innovative features, conducts feasibility assessments, and make recommendations to senior leaders.
Establishes the criteria for product evaluation, pricing, promotion, distribution strategies and competitive differentiators. 
Collaborates with peers in Relationship Management, Business Development, Account Management, Commercialization and Marketing teams to deliver on sales and market share goals. 
Responsible for ensuring that all work conducted by the broader FX product management team aligns necessary regulatory requirements.
Assists staff in navigating Risk, Legal or Compliance requirements.
Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. 

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: 
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 
5-7 years of total work experience preferred. 
Experience in Payments, specifically cross-border and FX Payments.
Financial services experience preferred. 
Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $81,000 and $170,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
