Symmetrio is currently recruiting a Vice President of Sales based in the Midwest US territory for our customer, a leading multi-national medical device company. This field-based role is responsible for the leadership, development, and success of the Western US sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of managing a collaborative team and closing high-profile clients in the medical device space. The candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the medical device space and experience managing a team of 10+ people. Experience in long sales cycle / strategy development is imperative. The ideal candidate will be located near a West Coast hub airport. The position requires up to 50% travel.
This is a full-time position offering excellent health benefits, PTO, a 401(k) match, and an OTE of $350,000. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and drive sales strategies and initiativesParticipate in strategic account planningCollaborate with marketing and other departments to develop effective strategiesAnalyze and improve current processesAssess staff performanceDeliver monthly/quarterly/yearly sales projectionsUse/Review of Salesforce CRMMonitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership teamWork closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programsManage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunitiesTravel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationshipsMinimum RequirementsExperience in Medical Device industryExperience hiring and mentoring a team of sales hunters that will generate new business in the territory as well as expand business in current customer accounts.Responsibility for managing across several business linesThe ability to accurately forecast quarterly and yearly sales goalsProficient use of Salesforce or other CRM platformExtensive IDN/Health network experienceC-Suite experience within hospitals.While candidates with an MBA are preferred, we will consider individuals with a Bachelor's Degree if they have proven experience leading sales teams.BenefitsComprehensive health benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match.Paid time off and holidays.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Company-provided technology and resources to support remote work.
