The Position
Winter is coming!
The City of Maple Grove is seeking Attendants to help supervise our warming houses and community rinks.
This is a great position for anyone looking for part-time and flexible work arrangements and for students on holiday breaks.
Warming House attendants are responsible for maintaining the warming house and ice rinks in a safe and orderly manner.
The Maple Grove Parks and Recreation department prides itself on providing exceptional customer service and enhancing an enjoyable atmosphere for citizens to ice skate, play hockey, and other fun winter activities.
**Open until filled- Interviews are conducted as applications are received.

Hours: Part-time weekday, weekend hours.
Some holidays may be required.
Responsibilities Enforce the Parks and Recreation Board's rules and regulations to all patrons.
Keep the warming house and skating area clean and free of debris.
Keep sidewalks and doorways of the warming house clear of snow and ice.
Keep the restrooms in the warming house clean and stocked.
Respond to accident and emergency situations as outlined in the skating rink attendants manual.
Complete accident reports as needed.
Record daily attendance at the designated time on the attendance record.
Complete the maintenance report as needed.
Works independently with minimal supervision, making safe decisions.
Perform other related duties as requested by the Skating Rink Supervisor.
Qualifications Need to have: Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
Nice to have: Experience working in a recreational skating environment.
Customer service experience.
Fluent in language(s) other than English.
