Weekend Certified Surgical Technologist

Job Summary We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for weekend shifts, either full-time or part-time.
The ideal candidate will have Main OR experience and hold current CST and BLS certifications.
Trauma experience is preferred.
This position is located at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center.

Job Description Demonstrate proficiency in perioperative patient care and act as first scrub in assigned specialty areas.
Support readiness and flow of cases in the unit.
Ensure availability of supplies and equipment, and apply principles of asepsis for optimal patient care.
Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency.
Model service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized, and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.
