Are you a skilled Workers' Compensation Attorney with a proven record of success defending companies?
Our client is currently seeking an experienced attorney to join their team.
With a dedicated support staff and a focus on promoting a positive work environment, this position offers the opportunity for professional growth while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities:

- Defend client companies in workers compensation cases.
- Provide legal counsel and representation throughout all stages of litigation.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with support staff, medical professionals, and experts to build strong cases.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as needed.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with legal trends, regulations, and case law related to workers' compensation.

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.)
degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
- 3+ years of experience specifically focused on defending companies in workers' compensation cases.
- Strong understanding of workers compensation laws and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail.
- Effective negotiation, advocacy, and courtroom presentation skills.
