Accounting Temp (Sage Experience)

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Temp with proficiency in Sage to assist our finance team during a busy period. The ideal candidate will play a key role in performing data entry, data validation, account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. This is a temporary position that requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This is a fully remote 6-8 week temp.
\n Responsibilities:Perform accurate and timely data entry into Sage accounting software.Validate and review financial data for consistency and accuracy.Assist in account reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved.Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary reports and financial documentation.Assist with the preparation of journal entries and other accounting tasks as needed.Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain the integrity of financial records.Assist with any ad-hoc financial projects or tasks as directed by the Accounting Manager.
