We seek to hire a self-motivated and experienced full-time Administrative Assistant - Finance & Operations for Solar One's Programs.
Position Responsibilitie s
Reporting to the Managing Director of Finance, the Administrative Assistant - Finance & Operations will provide administrative support to Solar One's Programs and Operations. Activities include but are not limited to:

Helping to track expenses and invoicing for government and non-government contracts. Assembling and maintaining data related to programs and contracts, and compiling, and analyzing data for invoicing. Assisting in reviewing time records in preparation for (grant) reimbursements. Gathering and assembiling data for invoicing contracts and donors. Communicate regularly with Program Directors to ensure accuracy of time records. Reviewing sub-contractor invoices for accuracy and adherence to project budgets. Assisting and helping in compilation of invoices for reimbursement of all expenditures allocated to various government contracts. Tracking expenditures and assisting with reporting according to contract procedures. Organizing and maintaining files, documents in A/R and A/P, Operations, and Programs. A/R functions:, sending invoices to clients, and following up on payments. Reconciling A/R aging report and A/P aging report on a monthly basis to support the accountants. Assisting finance staff with additional invoicing, audit, and other ad hoc duties as required. Qualifications and Skills
Successful candidates for this role should be able to demonstrate the following: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some College coursework completed preferred. 2-3 years of related non-profit administrative experience required. Excellent quantitative analysis skills. Strong ability to develop spreadsheet analysis using Excel and Google Sheets. Familiarity with not-for-profit finances and grant administration. Understanding of and experience with timekeeping. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Dropbox, Zoom and Google Apps required. Experience with Financial Edge, QuickBooks, Adobe Suite, and Salesforce preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong time management skills and attention to detail Must be self-motivated. Pay and Benefits
This position is Full Time / Exempt
Paying $62,400-$65,000 per year (salary based on experience)
