HOW YOU'LL FIT You'll form and strengthen agency partnerships to increase revenue and presence within your assigned channel. You'll bring sharp focus to growth within the agency niche, making the right contacts, understanding sales cycles and speaking the industry language. You'll also tend agency relationships to aid growth and pipeline development. You'll take care to record all relevant client activity within the CRM with an understanding that data supports better decision making. You will partner closely with your local AE to generate sales proposals and close deals. You will champion Carvertise values every day. COMPENSATION Compensation will be comprised of $75,000 base salary plus bonus potential. OTE projected at $100,000. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieves activity and closed business targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Develops strategies alongside management to maximize revenue performance and address shortfalls; retains and grows repeat business. Achieves target activity goals and other relevant metrics that are key to building lucrative partnerships, while closing deals and generating the expected revenue in tandem with your AE partner. Leverages various resources (publications, search, apps) to identify agencies to be targeted and determine appropriate contacts; prospects leads. Develops expertise in agency niche to set strategies and maximize growth, including macro & micro trends, the language/terminology spoken, sales cycles and key prospective agencies within assigned market, and other relevant players, etc. Leverages trade shows and industry event participation as needed to deepen business penetration in niche channel; shapes client/prospect's impressions and perception. Engages in weekly 1:1's with manager to report status of business, current activity, pending deals, and partner strategy; provides/receives feedback. Utilizes CRM to manage activity flow through pipeline, records all relevant activities to maximize availability of data to drive learnings. Supports development of customized agency programs to include pricing and service as channel matures. Partners with the local AE to develop customized product proposals based on agency/client needs analysis and articulates merits of solution offered; understands pricing and communicates value. Entertains agency partners weekly (breakfast/lunch/dinner) to deepen relationships and remain top of mind; performs significant local, same-day, travel. Stays abreast of agency trends, happenings and innovations; finds, recommends or adopts new approaches to achieve better results. Performs other projects and duties as requested, assigned and/or needed. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE BA/BS in business, marketing or a similar discipline preferred. Minimum 3-5 years ad agency experience; media buyer or agency account management preferred. Agency contacts to leverage will be a big plus!
