Business Development Manager, Amazon IncentivesWe are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager (BDM) with proven enterprise client engagement and negotiation experience to join the Amazon Incentives team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, high-growth, cross-functional initiative - on a team where every day is Day 1.
We are looking for an enthusiastic leader with passion for customer obsession as well as a keen ability to deliver results autonomously and through others. BDMs on the Amazon Incentives team will acquire large clients and grow their Amazon Incentives footprint by being the subject matter expert on products and use cases, identifying large accounts that are under-served and establishing strong relationships with a basis for future scalable growth.
Amazon Incentives BDMs frequently work with other Amazon business development teams to deliver highly effective solutions to our clients. In turn, our clients use our assets to motivate their end customers in use cases like customer acquisition and retention, disbursements, micro-payments, reward points conversion, employee rewards and benefits. This role requires a leader with a passion for delivering results and strong interest in strategy, relationship sales, marketing, analytics, and business development.

In addition to net new business the individual will have the opportunity to identify and grow high potential accounts and segments. Responsibilities include pipeline development/management, deal negotiation/closure, and client launch/growth.
A Day in the LifeA day in the life of the successful candidate revolves around the sales lifecycle. On a daily basis the Business Development Manager (BDM) will prospect new clients, convert leads to active opportunities, move opportunities through sales stages to closure, and manage closed deals to launch/purchase. The BDM will identify client friction points and CX opportunities and work with partner teams to continually improve.
About the TeamAmazon Incentives drives the Amazon flywheel by enabling businesses to reward employees and incent customers with Amazon Gift Cards, Product Vouchers, and Prime. We sell products directly to business customers via our business development team, to smaller customers directly via our self-service channel, and through resellers to scale the business broadly.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ years of inside sales experience
- Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses
- Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
- Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $62,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $132,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
