Controller

Our client, an industrial company, is seeking a Controller to report directly to the CFO.
This is the ideal role for an accomplished professional looking to leverage their leadership abilities and accounting knowledge in an entrepreneurial environment.



Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting cycles including accounts payable, cash management, and billing
Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger
Manage fixed asset accounting and reporting
Oversee financial close processes 
Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management
Identify process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
Provide guidance and supervision to the accounting staff
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic projects as needed
Maintain compliance with GAAP, accounting standards, and regulations
Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the CFO and CEO

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
CPA or MBA is strongly preferred
7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Experience in the industrial parts sector is strongly preferred
Prior experience managing and leading an accounting team is required
Strong technical accounting skills and software proficiency
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
