Position Summary The Junior Energy Engineer will support energy modeling, simulation, and analysis, contributing to sustainable project solutions. The role involves working closely with senior engineers to conduct building performance analyses and energy conservation evaluations using advanced software tools. This position is ideal for an early-career engineer seeking to deepen their technical skills and build experience in the energy engineering field. Key Responsibilities Conduct energy modeling and simulations using EnergyPlus and DesignBuilder software to support analysis and recommendations for energy conservation measures (ECMs). Assist in evaluating building energy usage and performance, helping to identify and implement cost-effective solutions for energy savings. Participate in the planning and execution of energy-focused projects for both new construction and existing building retrofits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement energy-efficient design solutions and optimize building performance. Prepare documentation and reports summarizing analysis outcomes, model results, and project recommendations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Approximately 1 year of experience in energy engineering or a related field.
