Role Requirements Building a capable and confident team and developing everyone so that they can excel in their role Oversee and ensure all company systems and policies are maintained Oversee Dine In, Carry Out, Retail, and Concession Stand operations Responsible for all controllable costs including labor, food, beverage, and supplies Uphold company food safety, food handling, and sanitation requirements, to ensure the health and safety of our guests and team members Maintain all labor laws and practices in accordance with NC Attract, Train, and Retain top talent Extreme emphasis on proper training and cultural development of all team members. This includes, but is not limited to the designing, implementing, and updating/ continuously improving Mount Mitchell Café & Eatery FOH Training Materials Required Skills Must exemplify the highest standards in honesty, integrity, and leadership. Maintain Food Safety and Health Standards Proven team player with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Genuinely getting joy out of making people happy, being able to have fun, having a sense of humor, and enjoying working in the hospitality world Love and Passion for serving a team of great people and dining guests Working knowledge of Food-service Prime Costs Effective and efficient communication with all departments Ensure Mount Mitchell Café & Eatery Plating Standards, Food Quality, Steps of Service, Safety, and Professional protocols are being executed daily Manage guest flow and address all guest issues as they arise Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word Highly skilled at POS and Electronic Scheduling Tools. Must be Technology Savvy Experience and Education: At least Two Years (2 yr.) previous bar and/or restaurant experience required and/or Culinary/Hospitality Education Must have a High School diploma or GED Must be eligible to work in the United States Must be ServSafe Certified Must have reliable Transportation Capability Requirements The following capabilities are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
