This position will assist attorneys to help steer the delivery of legal services, with the use of technical skills and manage work flow processes.
We are looking for a professional that understands the importance of quality service, contributes in a team environment and who is willing to continually learn and grow with our Firm.
Responsibilities Include Supporting the IP department, including the electronic docket (Pattsy), monitoring attorney dockets for deadlines, reviewing and generating special docket reports. Typing, producing, editing, and proof-reading various legal documents and correspondence. Electronic time entry and billing, calendaring/scheduling, processing and managing expense reimbursements. Electronic client file maintenance (NetDocs). Contact with client and various other administrative duties for the IP group as assigned.Qualified Applicants Will Have Intellectual property related legal experience in a law firm environment. Trademark and patent prosecution experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel required. Experience with electronic docket management strongly preferred. Experience with producing, reviewing, and formatting legal documents Microsoft and Adobe. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, proofreading, and customer service skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to prioritize workflow in a fast-paced environment.
