Job Summary Inpatient Solid Tumor, Responding Clinician APP
Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), located in Boston, MA currently has an opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our cutting-edge Inpatient Oncology team, caring for inpatients with Solid Tumors.

You'll be caring for an oncology patient population who are admitted for medical complications, new diagnoses, and treatment-related side effects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of patients on a 36-bed unit in collaboration with oncologists and the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities include:
Participating in daily interdisciplinary roundsCollaboratively develop and implement care plansCoordinating tests and consultations, communicating with referring clinicians and consults, performing patient education, and preparing patients for discharge.Our practice environment reflects the values of our hospital, combining knowledge, skill and compassion to create a workforce that is caring, innovative, scientific and empowering.

• 36-bed oncology unit, located on the inpatient hospital (Main) campus.
• Providers are responsible for coverage 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Shifts are 13hrs.
Day/Night Rotation.
Day hours: 6:30am-7:30pm, Night Hours: 6:30pm-7:30am.
Night requirements are minimal.

Qualifications Minimum 2 years of prior experience in an acute care/inpatient environment (either as RN or APP), with medicine, ICU or oncology experience highly desirable.
Master's degree in nursing, national certification in advanced practice nursing OR master's degree in physician associate studies, with certification by NCCPA.
