This position is full-time OR part time and includes a competitive salary and benefits package. Located in Brooklyn, New York, Arlo Williamsburg offers a vibrant and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development in the hospitality industry.Compensation & Benefits:Salary range of $10.65 to $23 per hour, paid weeklySeasonal position with the potential for extension based on performanceComprehensive benefits package including health insurance, paid time off, and employee discountsOpportunity for growth and advancement within Arlo HotelsResponsibilities:Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional mannerAssist guests with seating, taking orders, and serving food and drinksProvide excellent customer service by anticipating needs and addressing any concerns promptlyMaintain a clean and organized rooftop area, including tables, chairs, and decorPrepare and serve drinks from the rooftop barFollow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guestsWork closely with other departments, including kitchen staff, to ensure seamless serviceHandle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely mannerAttend and participate in training sessions and team meetingsStay updated on menu items and daily specialsOther duties as assigned by managementRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in hospitality or customer service preferredMust be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of timeMust be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid alcohol serving certificationKnowledge of New York City and its surrounding areas is a plusEEOC Statement:Arlo Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
