Salary $140,000 - $225,000 per year

A prestigious CPA firm in Boston is actively looking for a Tax Manager to lead our tax department, specializing in partnerships and high-net-worth individual (HNWI) clients.

Work Schedule

Expected to work increased hours during the tax season (January-April) with a peak in March and April.
Outside of tax season, enjoy a 37.5-hour workweek with Flex Fridays off during the summer.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns, particularly for partnerships and HNWIs. Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to our clients, helping them navigate various tax implications with expert advice. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals, ensuring high standards of practice and professional growth. Collaborate with partners and other managers to integrate tax strategies with broader financial considerations for clients. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and keep abreast of current tax practices and changes in the law.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field; CPA certification required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax roles with a significant focus on partnership filings and HNWI clientele. Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of managing a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in tax software such as Profx Tax, CCH, Checkpoint, XCM, and Filecenter. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage client and team relationships.Interested in hearing more?
