RF Engineer - 2nd Shift Location: Chelmsford, MA Job ID: #69616 Pay Range: $60-73/Hr Duration: 12 months Second Shift Hours 3:00pm to 1:30am Active secret required to prior to start.
Summary: In this role the engineer will have the opportunity to develop RF Subsystems which may include antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment.
The engineer will have the opportunity to support the development of complex multi-function modules used in challenging high reliability applications.
The engineer will be responsible for architecting and designing circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full rate production.
The engineer will be responsible for analysis and troubleshooting of circuits for advanced electronic modules including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits and frequency conversion circuits at all phases of the product life cycle.
Basic Qualifications: BS degree in electrical engineering or closely related technical field and 2 years of relevant professional level experience.
Experience with successful RF subsystems design is required.
Experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues is required.
Experience working with military electronics development or manufacturing is required.
Familiarity with technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams and test data is required.
Familiarity with the use electronics equipment and with circuit simulation tools is required.
Strong organization and communication skills are required.
Desired Skills: An MS in electrical engineering or closely related technical field is desirable.
Experience with RF Subsystems design including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements, advanced electronic modules including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits is desired.
Experience with Keysight's Advanced Design System (ADS) Software or CST Microwave Studio 3D Software would be a major plus.
Familiarity with microelectronics assembly techniques is desired.
