Lockheed Martin is seeking to hire an experienced RF engineering professional at our campus in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

What You Will Be Doing
-In this role, the Senior RF Engineer will have the opportunity to support the development and production of complex multi-function modules used in challenging high-reliability applications in all phases of the product life cycle.
-The engineer will have the opportunity to design and develop circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full-rate production.
-The engineer will work on complex technical problems and provide solutions that are innovative and ingenious.
-The engineer will act independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational products.
-The engineer will have an opportunity to mentor less experienced engineers on our team.
-The engineer will contribute to or author proposals and may participate in business capture efforts.
-The engineer will collaborate with other engineering disciplines including hardware engineers, systems engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technicians and manufacturing support personnel.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or BS Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) accepted plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional engineering experience.
Extensive experience with successful RF design is required.
Experience with Schematic Capture, RF Block Diagram Reviews, and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA).
Extensive experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues is required.
Experience with the use of microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools is required.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
Candidate must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance and be able to obtain at least an interim secret security clearance before starting the position.
Desired skills
•An MS in electrical engineering or closely related technical field is desired.
•Significant relevant experience in the defense electonics industry is desired.
•Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits is desired.
•Experience leading successful technical projects is desired.
•Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools is desired.
•Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques is desired.
•Expertise with technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams and test data is desired.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $93,400 - $179,000.
For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.
Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $107,400 - $202,400.
For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location.
