Responsible for the development and execution of strategic plans and tactical solutions within the scope of post-acute sales. This includes end-to-end ownership of policies, procedures, and processes in critical areas such as pipeline management, supply agreement compliance, Tableau dashboard creation, and on-going development and standardization within the Post-Acute Sales Administration Department. Perform deep dive data analytics to uncover areas of opportunity to simplify, enhance, or optimize the customer experience and sales processes.
Job Description This role will be 100% remote, however must be within driving distance to Libertyville, IL sales office. Responsibilities: Provide sales team with strategic direction, guidance and support, while ensuring accountability for meeting or exceeding operational objectives and priorities. Understand the various operational impacts associated with changes in operating and strategic policies and company growth objectives, and be able to design and develop reporting solutions that will highlight and monitor these impacts. Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable customer strategies which will have a measurable impact on the business. Work with cross-functional team members from each functional area to review the potential business requirements and identify the measurable impact to the respective functional area. Work with IS business analysts in defining requirements for application systems. Strong ability to multi-task and work independently. Support the continuous improvement of the department, lead and contribute to initiatives that deliver an excellent customer experience and improve portfolio profitability. Ability to effectively communicate and work with Senior Leadership on a consistent basis. Provides education, expert advice, and guidance on a wide-variety of sales operations matters and issues. Develops creative solutions to simplify operational processes while prioritizing multiple initiatives requiring the same resources. Aids in researching, understanding, and resolving any system discrepancy and partners with sales leaders, IS, and other system support functions to prevent further issues. Makes recommendations to adjust or change controls to align to business needs and changes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics or Applied Statistics. Relevant Work Experience: At least 5 years' experience in sales analysis or related area. Additional: Ability to successfully apply standard financial, accounting and business problem-solving skills to business problems with multiple variables. Advanced level skill in Microsoft Access (for example: modifying default field properties, creating a sub form, adding a control button, modifying query criteria and query totals, using conditional formatting and/or viewing data relationships). Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table). Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, volume. Ability to apply concepts of algebra and business statistics. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Experience in measuring and presenting business results in a multi-variable environment. Ability to simultaneously manage large, complex projects in combination with smaller ad hoc requests.
