Job Title: Technical Product Delivery Manager

Responsibilities:
Project Management:
• Coordinate production releases with stakeholders to ensure smooth deployment.
• Refine workflows for regression testing, feedback mechanisms, and release classifications.
• Detect and resolve bottlenecks or misalignments in technical workflows.
• Facilitate synchronization across QA, development, and product teams.
• Collaborate with development leads to provide accurate technical estimates and timelines.
• Engage in technical feasibility discussions, challenging assumptions, and escalating issues as necessary.
• Document and maintain standard operating procedures for QA and engineering processes.
Project Documentation:
• Manage and update the MTA Documentation Catalog to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
• Create and maintain Feature Requirement documents detailing expected functionality and behaviors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Document project workflows, including task tracking and feedback triage processes.
• Communicate roadmap updates to QA and development teams, ensuring alignment.
• Participate in engineering scrums, documenting key takeaways and actionable items.
Product Development:
• Oversee and update the product development roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain visual tools, such as Gantt charts, to track and represent roadmap progress.
• Liaise between business units and engineering to communicate product goals and priorities.
• Ensure product initiatives are prioritized within the broader roadmap.
• Participate in technical planning sessions to prepare and prioritize development tasks.
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is typically required.
• Master's Degree (Preferred): An MBA or a Master's in a relevant technical field is often preferred, especially for roles involving strategic oversight.
Experience Requirements:
• Product Management Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in product management, with a focus on technical products, is commonly expected.
• Technical Background: Experience in software development, engineering, or a related technical field is crucial to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is often required to manage product development lifecycles effectively.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with engineering, QA, and product teams to drive product success.
• Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences are essential.
Quality Assurance:
• Oversee the timeliness and accuracy of all quality assurance activities.
• Conduct regular QA team check-ins to identify challenges, set priorities, and discuss feedback.
• Identify and address bottlenecks in QA workflows based on team input.
• Ensure alignment of QA deliverables with engineering timelines and goals.
• Communicate and enforce adherence to QA processes and procedures.
• Escalate critical QA issues to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations.
